ISCA taps corporate talent in hires to executive team
ISCA, Inc., a green agtech company based in Riverside, Calif., has tapped decades of experience with the world’s leading multinational corporations in its recent hiring of two top executives.
Joining ISCA’s leadership team are Chief Strategy Officer Blair L. Fortner and Chief Operations Officer Rolando Alegria.
“Today ISCA has the necessary talent to expand its footprint around the globe and revolutionize the control of world agriculture’s most damaging insect pests,” said Agenor Mafra-Neto, ISCA founder, president, CEO, and an internationally acclaimed entomologist and chemical ecologist.
Fortner is responsible for ISCA’s strategy and business planning, marketing, product development, capital raises, and regulatory compliance. He is an analytics-driven strategist and energetic leader who enables global organizations to increase sales and revenue by identifying market opportunities worldwide. He previously served as chief economist and as a member of the global strategy team at Monsanto Co. and as chief economist at Archer Daniels Midland Co. His work over 25 plus years has spanned over thirty countries on five continents.
Alegria is responsible for ISCA’s sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and product quality. A results-driven executive with a successful record of achieving profitable business growth, Alegria has worked with the leading brands in agriculture and possesses outstanding interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Alegria has 30 years of international experience in agricultural product sales, marketing, human resources, and research and development with the DOW corporation and Corteva Agriscience, including divisions in the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Costa Rica. He also worked as Seeds Global Business Director at Dow AgroSciences.
ISCA’s rapid growth also has allowed for the recent hiring of several other talented employees, with 11 new positions filled since the beginning of the year.
